We don't just clarify butter. We caramelize it.
Unlike many commercial ghee brands, we use an ancient method to render the pure oil from butter until it’s caramelized to perfection. Our ghee is made from cows who are pasture raised (grass fed) and the butter is traditionally cultured before it’s churned.
Our ghee is:
Shelf stable (no refrigeration needed)
Lactose & Casein free.
High smoke point of 485f.
Made in small batches by a family in the Appalachian mountains.

Our Brown Butter Ghee is an extra caramelized version of our traditional grass-fed ghee.
It is rendered from a longer cooking process that creates a deeper, nutty, rich flavor without any added ingredients.
Versatile and delectable, the Brown Butter has all the same uses as our traditional ghee plus a rich flavor.
Try cooking and using this ghee and see for yourself why so many of our customers choose Brown Butter as their staple!
This blend in particular varies from batch to batch because it is crafted by eye and can change from a lighter brown to a darker brown in moments! Expect variability from batch to batch.
